It looks like you had fun. Which VRBO did you stay at this time?
We stayed at the Crystal Rose http://www.crystalroseproperties.com/site/crystal-rose-properties-lincoln-city.html It is 7 bedrooms, is in a great location, and worked really well for us.
Love seeing these every year! And watching the family as it grows… wow, has it really really going on 8 years?
Looks like a lovely, lovely time!
It looks like a marvelous, relaxing, and fun-by-all time. I’m glad you got that one photo of Amanda, Ben, and Ascher at the aquarium. I was about to be disappointed at not seeing any baby bellies, since the kids are covering the mommies in all the other shots. 🙂
I just booked our first VRBO house, thanks to your past posts about staying in them. In Lincoln City too! My kids have never been to the coast and I’m so excited for them. (they don’t know they’re going yet – I think a 2 month wait for that kind of excitement is too much!)
I was researching the aquarium in Newport as well – and thought the ticket prices were pretty outrageous. Do you think it was worth the price? Any tips for discounts? Maybe you had enough people to get the group discount?
Thanks!
HI Alea,
How exciting! Hope your trip is great! We buy a 1-year membership to the aquarium every year or two, and try to go at least twice during each trip. It is still spendy, but we feel like we get more of our money’s worth by visiting twice during the week. If you need a good place to eat in Newport, we really like Kum Yon’s. It is close to the big bridge and is very yummy.
