About those almond trees

Gracie took such a long nap on Sunday that I didn’t end up raking in the orchard, and the only orchard pictures I got were actually of Rebekah and Ken and Gracie.   But you can see the orchard in the background in some of these photos.  Here also are a few pictures that I took at the Sacramento Women of Faith conference.   All in all, it was a really nice weekend.  Oh, and the picture to the left is one I found on the internet– it is a close-up of almonds still in their outer hulls.  (You can click on any picture to enlarge).

One more note: my friend Meagan interviewed me this week on the blog 4 KIDS OR MORE.  Stop in and say hi, or ask me a question!

Love your article on 4 kids or more… I just left this comment over there and thought I’d leave it here too…
“Mary is hands-down one of the best bloggers out there; she is certainly one of my three or four “must-reads.” I think of her like an e-mentor, just from reading her stuff… I have both her books as well; very good. My husband and I have four biological children now – 5, 4, 2, 6 months – and would like to adopt one or two more. She helps me realize that it can be done, and can be done with thoughtfulness and integrity (and even that you can still write while doing it!). What a blessing.”
    All the best, Susan
