Wonderful, merciful Saviour
Precious Redeemer and Friend
Who would’ve thought that a Lamb could
Rescue the souls of men
Oh, You rescue the souls of men

Counselor, Comforter, Keeper
Spirit we long to embrace
You offer hope when our hearts have
Hopelessly lost our way
Oh, we’ve hopelessly lost the way

You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Oh, our hearts always hunger for

Almighty, infinite Father
Faithfully loving Your own
Here in our weakness You find us
Falling before Your throne
Oh, we’re falling before Your throne

  1. I love this song; I sing it at church for special music.

  2. I’m not sure how I’d never heard that one, but it really is powerful. Selah has an awesome sound. I’m not sure how this would sound as a group song using a guitar…but I’m going to try.

  3. I have never heard this before, but how beautiful. My little one just started singing it from the family room so I am playing it over for a few times!!!!

P.S. I am new to your blog and love it! I also ordered your new book from Amazon and I am anxiously waiting for it!

  4. LOVE that song. Phillips, Craig & Dean sing it also, and I have it on my ipod. 🙂 Thanks for posting!!
