In 12 minutes a lady is supposed to be here to help me pick out tile and vinyl for our new (old, flooded) bathroom, so I can’t talk long. Hoping to find some nice new flooring which hopefully we will get to enjoy for a good long time. We are also expecting the bid for the bathroom work, which hopefully will not be too much more than insurance has already paid out. (*bracing self*) We haven’t had any workmen here yet today, but I am expecting them soon, since expensive and loud drying equipment is still roaring away in our bathroom.

This week four of the kids will be doing standardized testing for three days, which always makes for a busy week. On Friday the new tub is supposed to come, and also on Friday they should begin putting our bathroom back together– hooray! We did get the closet dried out enough to use it again. It was nice to pull our clothes out of the kids’ closets and bring them back to the convenience of our own room. I am SOOOO looking forward to having my own bathroom back– I am ashamed to admit how much I am used to the convenience of a bathroom that I share with only one other person!

Finally, a funny from my 6 year old daughter. She had been working on a craft project which she was eager to finish. But then I called her to set the dinner table. With a heavy sigh she said, “I feel like this is the busiest time of my life!”

Little does she know…

(written with 4 minutes to spare– yeah!)
