“Works For Me”

Playing WFMW with Shannon at Rocks In My Dryer.

Got kids who get carsick?  Try Red Earth Motion-Stop , an herbal concoction with ginger, mint, cloves and other good things.   A few drops under the tongue ward off nausea like you wouldn’t believe.   My kids hardly ever throw up in the car anymore, thanks to this little wonder.   A teeny bottle lasts us years.  We have it stashed in the door pocket of our van at all times.  Works for me!!

  1. I’m making note of this and sharing it with my sister. She suffers from car sickness every time!

Thanks for sharing. I’ve posted a tip as well.

  2. I am going to get some of this to try…of course I blame it all on hubby’s driving.

  3. Oh, this is so good to know about — and it doesn’t make you sleepy like Dramamine.

  4. Sounds like a wonder. Does it work for when you go to amusement parks to ward off nausea from the rides too?

  5. Wonderful. My eldest has suffered from motion sickness since she was a tiny baby.

  6. Hello! Sounds like something I going to need to try. I haven’t posted a comment yet, but I have been reading for about a week now & I love the whole “no spending thing”. Its funny at the same time right before I read here I said I was going to do the same thing! So far so good. Keep up the great work.

  7. Thank you! My oldest just started with car sickness about 2 years ago, and now any trip longer than 15 minutes can be if-fy. I’ll definitely look into this.

  8. I could have used that last week when I turned around to talk to the kids about something and the next thing I know, I’m whipping my head back and breathing deeply to keep from getting nauseous.

  9. Do you think it would work with morning sickness?

  10. I have the same question as Umm Skandar LOL! Oh and I think it would work for me not prego with my hubs driving and curvy roads….ugh!

  11. I may have to get some of this for my nephew. Where we live is very hilly and curvy and he throws up almost everytime he visits.

  12. definately gonna try this one for the amusement parks next time …
    thanks for sharing

  13. I have a daughter who always seems to feel dizzy in the car. I wonder if this would take away that dizzy feeling.

  14. I took ginger before and during our recent mission trip to Mexico. I am convinced it helped keep me from getting Montezuma’s Revenge. However it didn’t help when I took Princess Daughter to Six Flags. I had been avoiding the place for 16 years…the rides got to me big time. Maybe your concoction would help.

  15. That’s a great tip – I’ll have to keep it in mind. I get motion sickness once in awhile esp. when I’m pregnant. Wish I had known about it 1 1/2 years ago 🙂

  16. Can adults use it, too? I get very carsick on trips. Actually once in a while I get carsick in town! I wonder if you can use it for morning sickness? Not that I need that right now but you never know : )
