Dinner, night two

Cold cereal and yogurt.

That is all.

Apparently I used all my cooking mojo last night.

  1. Haha! Oh Mary, this made me laugh out loud. I often have nights like this when I’m only cooking for myself, except with a fried egg and toast. That is all 🙂

  2. This post is awesome. 🙂

  3. This is fantastic! Bagels are our standby dinner when I’m too tired to cook.

  4. This is one of the funniest things ever! Bt it is also one of the most transparent, humble and encouraging blog posts I have ever read! I thank God often for whoever invented French Toast! LOL!

  5. Hahahaha!! LoVe it!!

  6. Awesome.

  7. Hee.

We had cereal and applesauce for dinner last night too! The kids seemed excessively pleased with the idea… (I debated about being offended, but decided that would take too much effort, so I just laughed about it and got myself a spoon and a mug of applesauce.)

    That is all.

  8. Elderly folks around here will have popcorn and sliced apples on Sunday evenings because of the big lunch they usually have with families.

  9. And all God’s children said AMEN!!

(Glad we aren’t the only ones who do this for dinner!)

  10. Bridget says:

Breakfast for dinner happens often in the summer for us! Eggs, bacon, toast and fruit! Playing outside all day and running the kids around makes for poor meal planning!!

  11. Hee hee, this is my fall-back plan for whenever Mr. FL is working at dinner time.
The kids like it better than a real dinner anyway…
I save the cooking mojo for the husband who actually appreciates it!

  12. Oh, I just LOVE when the blog moms I admire post “real life”!! Thanks, Mary! 🙂
