October Family Feasts Giveaway

I’m excited to tell you about two giveaways I’m doing this month. The first one is a Cheer laundry detergent giveaway! Who couldn’t use free laundry soap? Click on over there and tell me how you brighten the lives of the people around you, and you’ll be eligible to win a free bottle of Cheer.

(NOTE: If you commented on the Cheer giveaway in the early hours of Monday, you might need to go back and comment again. I made an error and had to delete the first post and repost it in a different location on my blog. Sorry!)

The second giveaway is fun too! I’m giving away three sets of THREE copies each of my book Family Feasts for $75 a Week. Be one of the three winners of this giveaway, and you’ll have a copy of the cookbook for yourself, PLUS two copies to give away to friends. (Christmas gifts, maybe???)

You can get up to 5 entries to the Family Feasts giveaway by doing any of the followingΒ  5 things:

1. Blog about the contest and share a direct link to your post in comments.

2. Twitter about it, and share a link to your twitter in comments.

3. Request that your local library purchase FAMILY FEASTS, and tell me which library it is.

4. If you’ve already read FAMILY FEASTS, post a review of the book on amazon.com or bn.com.

5. Mention the contest on your Facebook page.

I’ll be picking 3 winners using random.org.Β  Be sure to comment using a valid email address.Β  The contest ends Monday morning, October 26th!Β  I hope to hear from lots of you!

  1. I don’t have a blog nor do I twitter, but hopefully can get in the contest anyway. I don’t have to request that my library buy your book, because they already have it and I’ve already checked it out! I took your pizza roll-ups to a mother/daughter fall party on Saturday, and they were a big hit. Every single one was eaten! My library is the High Plains Library district in Colorado.

  2. I just looked for the book on my library catalog yesterday, but it wasn’t there. Not even knowing there was a contest , I requested it for purchase. How great is that? It should arrive in 4 weeks! I can’t wait to get started. Your blog is an inspiration to this homeschooling mother. Thanks!

  3. I just put your book on my wish list yesterday. Winning it would be even better πŸ™‚
    It’s on the blog – http://fourplusmore.com/2009/10/05/next-on-my-book-purchase-list/
    Twitter – http://twitter.com/jgumm
Which also puts it on my Facebook page automatically.
I’m also emailing the librarian at the Town of Buckeye library in Arizona.
    So that’s 4 entries for me πŸ™‚

  4. I bought your book on Saturday. At one time I felt I had my grocery shopping budget under control. But after a move across the country I found myself floundering in new grocery stores with new prices. It’s been a rough, and expensive adjustment. I am truly enjoying the tips in your book. There are many things I knew but I had forgotten, and a lot of information that I did not know. I am excited to work your ideas into my life and get my cooking and grocery routine back to normal! Thank you!

  5. I posted the contest on my Facebook page.

  6. Jennifer H. says:
