This evening at dinner I had a sharp little knife next to my place at the table, which I was using to cut pizza.
My two year old sits next to me at the table, and when I wasn’t looking, she grabbed the knife. I looked over just in time to see her waving it in front of her.
“Uh-oh mommy!” she said, wide-eyed. “I have a knife!”
Like it just LEAPED into her hand.
Those two year olds can be quick can’t they? We had a church potluck meal recently and my husband happened upon an unattended two year old with a large bread knife. He was wielding it like a sword. That one panicked even my very laid back husband!
Blessings~
Oops! I should mention it wasn’t our two year old =)
A knife with super powers?
Wow.
Your house ROCKS!
I’m sure she was responding (as mine do) to the look on your face! LOL She knew what was coming… *wink*
And they wonder why moms get gray so quickly in life….;)

that is so funny…. my almost 2 year old does the same thing!
Oh my goodness! I’d forgotten what two year olds were like. “Uh Oh, Mommy!” Priceless.

So funny! It’s like she realized what she had, and wasn’t sure what to do next with it! ; )
Here’s what my three-year-old did with a pair of scissors when I wasn’t looking.

Soooooo two-year-oldish. Oh, how I remember those days, but in reality, I’m not sure they every really change. 😉
RFLOL!
We use scissors to cut our pizza, just a snip, snip, snip and it’s done.
If you’re anything like me you would have already pictured her running at break neck speed down the stairs with it.
