Proving once again that kids are ungrateful wretches

In a fit of frustration, my 3 year old nephew told my sister that he didn’t want her to be his mommy anymore.

“Oh, really?” she asked, amused. “Who do you want instead?”

“Grandpa Ron,” he declared quickly. Obviously he’d given this some thought.

  1. Oh, that’s good (although I’m not sure what Grandpa Ron will think)!

  2. That is so cute. Does that mean Grandpa Ron will be taking over your sister’s housework and other chores too? LOL

  3. I wonder what Grandpa Ron will have to say about that! How cute that he had been thinking about it already!

  4. Ha. Well, at least he had a candidate all lined up.

  5. I’m here to tell you that Grandpa Ron would NOT do well with that situation…. 🙂

  6. Ah, out of the mouths of babes!

  7. My 5 year old daughter alternates between saying she wants to go live with her Aunt Bubble, and saying that she never wants to go there again…*LOL*..Never wanting to go there again is a problem, since it is she that babysits for me!!

Sorry I haven’t been here lately, things have been crazy busy around here!! Hopefully I will get back in the swing of things, and will be back to visit more often!!

  8. Katrine says:

When we had to discipline our daughter when she was younger, she would think of the most horrible thing to scream at her father or I. She would curl up her fists and yell, “You’re not my sister!”

  9. Kids crack me up.

  10. Once my son put “a new mom” on his Christmas list.

    That’s a cute story.

  11. very very cute!
