Works For Me: Reynolds Slow Cooker Crockpot Liners

My Works For Me tip this week is an easy one: Reynolds Crockpot liners. I just got a sample of these in the mail and they may usher in a new era of crock pot fanaticism at my house. Yesterday I made a pot of chili with a liner, and it was awesome!! We cooked the beans all day long, which ordinarily would make for a realy messy crock pot. But after dinner we scooped out the leftovers, peeled off the liner, and instantly had a clean crock pot. These things will save many minutes of scrubbing each time we fire up the crockpot. AWESOME!

For other great tips, check out Rocks in My Dryer. And if you are an RV’er, you might also enjoy the contest being hosted by Reynolds right now.

  1. I’ve tried these and you are correct…they are wonderful!!!

  2. So, the quick clean up is worth the money, right? Maybe I should get some of these things. Thanks for the tip!

  3. I’ve been wondering if these work well….Glad to hear that they do, thanks for the tip! (o:

  4. I bought some of these and totally forgot I had them until today actually! I’m going to try one out. 🙂

  5. Ooooh, LOVE these! I was introduced to them at Christmas, and it was a lifesaver! We host a Mexican night every Christmas Eve, and I needed the crock to make something ahead of time, then immediately move to warming the Rotel. The liner completely saved me from having to wash a hot crock!

Well worth the money if you’re in a pinch, or if you have an older non-removable crock!

  6. I just received a sample of these in the mail too, I’ve been antsy to try them out. They sound great, thanks for sharing! =)

  7. Two questions:
    1. Can you post a link to these?
    2. How do you get the samples?

  8. I did that for a works for me awhile back I LOVE THESE, they are the best. Depending on the shape of your crockpot and size turkey oven bags can work as well (they do not work on my large oval, but do on my round one) and those you can get on clearance after holidays.

  9. Oh yes, I got a sample awhile back. I’m not sure how I got it. We’re on so many lists, our poor mail carrier has to stop every day.
I put the whole package in the cupboard and forgot about them.

Then a water main broke in our neighborhood, and we had a boil order for a couple days after the repairs.
Well, there was no need for water when I used the liner!

  10. Clean-up is the only thing I don’t like about using the crock-pot. I had heard about these and wondered if they worked well — it’s good to know they do!

  11. *LOL* Now if only I had a crock pot…

  12. Oh my lands… I love this idea! I’m going to find some of those liners!

  13. I love those!! I have one older crockpot that doesn’t have a removable crock, so I originally got it for use in that one in particular. But now I use them in all my crockpot cooking!

  14. I’ve been wondering if these really worked or if they were yet another “buy-me” gimmick!

Are they heavy duty like the disposable aluminum pans you can bake in?

  15. They don’t feel very heavy–I kept checking mine during the cooking because I was kind of afraid it would melt to the crock pot! But it didn’t melt a bit. In fact, it held together when I picked it up, still hot, and poured the remainder of the beans into a smaller pot. It worked beautifully!

  16. The crunchy, skeptical side of me thinks “Ew, think of all the plasticizing chemicals leaching into the food!” The other side of me that hates cleaning cheers, “Finally, no soaking and scrubbing.” I think I’ll err on the scrubbing for now.

  17. I got some free samples in the mail but haven’t tried them yet. Thanks for the tip! I do need to try them out.

  18. I just got my sample and haven’t tried it yet. I use my crockpot all the time, though, so I’m sure it will come in handy. Thanks for reminding me that I need to get my sample out and use it!

  19. Another thing to put on my “to buy” list! I use my crockpot weekly and HATE cleaning it! Thanks for the tip!!!

  20. I haven’t heard of these before. Thanks for the tip… I’m going to check them out!

  21. Oh cool! I have an old crockpot without the pull out pot – so these will be great!

    Thanks

  22. I was so excited to use thease, but they had this really horrible stench to them and I have no idea why? Any ideas?
