I Am Contest Winners

You all have voted (or at least 270 of you did!) The Winner of the I AM Contest is Journey Mama.

The winner of the I Am From Contest is SusieJ.

And as I mentioned before, the person who referred the most comments was Mikael’s Mania.

The three winners can email me (owlhaven at aol dot com) and tell me which book you’d like. The books are:
Half a Heart
Raising an Emotionally Intelligent Child
Half Empty, Half Full
Chicken Soup for the Christian Family’s Soul
Fields of the Fatherless
Frugal Luxuries

You probably ought to tell me your first AND second choice book, just in case another winner beats you to your first choice.

Thanks, everyone, for all your participation. This has been a really fun contest for me, and hopefully for you too!

  1. Mary – you chose well! The winners definitely deserved to win…I was so excited to see who they were. What fun!

  2. Wow. Thank you. I’m very happy. I would like to dedicate my prize to my hometown library, in West Liberty, Ohio, where “I Am From.” For them, my first choice is Chicken Soup for the “Christian Family’s Soul” and my second choice for them is “Frugal Luxuries.” So happy to give this to those those wonderful people who kept me supplied with “Nancy Drew” while I was growing up.

  3. Thanks Mary – this was fun! Congrats to the winners and the finalists – it was fun to read all the entries! And Susie, I love that you’re sending your book to your hometown library.

  4. Those were definitely two great winners – reading those entries made me want to try one myself, but scared me away at the same time, because I could not approach such cleverness and beauty.

  5. I just came across this contest now. I did the exercise anyway and I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the cathartic experience that went along with it.

  6. I really enjoyed reading through the entries. This little contest was an absolute delight!
