My grandchildren

I was informed this afternoon by my 4 year old that my future grandchildren will be named Lacy and Tacy and Fuchsia and Nausea.

Out of curiosity I asked her whether they would be Black or white.

She rolled her eyes.  “They’re going to be Korean!  Hello!”

Alrighty then.

  1. Cute, cute. I love the way their minds work. Nausea? Well. Alrighty then!

  2. Nausea….I love it.

  3. Kids are great aren't they – when all else fails a child can always bring a smile to any face. Thanks for dropping by my blog – I love this.

  4. LOL! And you have it recorded here, for posterity!! C

  5. haha! so cute. kids are really amazing. they are God's tool to bring joys in our lives. 🙂

  6. That is so cute, kids sayings are always the cutest!

  7. Nausea? As in sick to my stomach not feeling so good nausea? That is the greatest!! Aren't kids just the best?!?!

  8. I LOVE Nausea….My daughter says she's going to name her first child Pooper, because I used to call her that as a baby…..

Out of the mouths of babes…

  9. So funny! My four year old has planned to name her daughters Coo-coo and Sarah Lala. Works for me. Have you checked out the children's book Fancy Nancy? It's a hit around here–a little girl who loves to be fancy and is a little frustrated with her un-fancy family. It's very charming and very funny.

  10. My oldest, she's 8, is never ever having kids, she just wants to be an aunt to her sister's many offspring. Her sister is 6. So, we'll see 🙂

  11. Um, Fuschia? what color is that? oh, Dictionary dot com says a "bright purplish red". A 4 year old with such an extensive vocabulary seems very interesting to live with 😉 ! !

And Korean is cute. We have a boy at church, well, he graduated high school already, but he was adopted when he was age 7.
Mother Korean, dad half Latino-half black merikan soldier.

That boy is gorgeous, the gene pool hit quite nicely with him.
When our Sunday School class went on a field trip, strangers literally stopped in their tracks to ask questions. His mother told me it happens all the time, even today while he's in college.
I can just imagine the remarks your family brings about, so it's good everybody keeps their wits and sense of humor.
Your daughter is demonstrating all the good examples around her.

  12. Hi! Thanks for dropping by. I loved the story about the names of your future grandkids. So funny! Looking forward to browsing the rest of your blog.

  13. Love it!! She is so adorable.

I'm the proud grandmother of a Sarah and Melinda. At least that's what my 5 year-old tells me. 🙂

  14. Hiya, I just joined blogging chicks. You have a very special family! Adorable. I'm also a homeschooling mom.

    Love your pictures!

  15. Your. Kid. Is. Hilarious!

  16. too Precious!

My daughter once said she was going to have twins and name them Chip and Dip.

  17. I graduated with African twins named Oranjello and Lemonjello. It's what their momma craved while pregnant with them. We just called them 'O' and 'L'. Wonder where they are now?!
